Who I am
I’m the CEO of OthersideAI, the company behind HyperWrite, which now has over 5 million users. I founded my first AI company at 19, I invented some of the tools the industry prompts with, and I back companies like Groq and Replit. Forbes 30 Under 30. All told, my writing on AI has been seen over 500 million times.

The essay
In February 2026 I wrote a letter to my non-tech friends about what AI was about to change. That letter became “Something Big Is Happening” — an essay read by more than 100 million people, featured in Fortune, CNBC, The New York Times — pretty much every major outlet — and now the subject of its own Wikipedia article. I’ve been explaining AI on CNBC, CBS, and CNN ever since.
The newsletter
Something Big Is Happening is the sequel to the essay: what changed in AI this week, and what it means for your work — in about five minutes, free. Every new AI reviewed, simple guides, and the occasional Roundup of the news that actually mattered. If a week is boring, you don’t hear from me.
It exists because Silicon Valley has an obsession with sounding smart, and nobody was telling normal people the raw, plain truth. My rule for every single issue:
It must be clear enough for my dad to understand immediately, and powerful enough that a frontier AI researcher still learns something.
So it’s for both: the lawyer who shouldn’t need a technical degree to understand how radically white-collar work is about to change, and the person building the thing that’s changing it.
