How it works
- Paste your experience: roles, years, skills, tools, results with numbers, and anything you want known, like a newsletter or talks.
- Pick your goal on LinkedIn (a new job, clients, a name in your field, hiring, or just a presence) and a length. Click Write my About section.
- Read it out loud, change anything that doesn't sound like you, and paste it into LinkedIn under Add profile section, About.

Tips for better results
- Put your best number in the notes. The opening line is what people see before "see more", and a concrete result is the strongest opener.
- Say what you want next. An About section that ends with a specific ask gets messages from the right people; a vague one gets none.
- Keep your headline and About section consistent. The headline says what you do in one line; the About section proves it.
- Leave out employer names you can't share. Write "a payroll software company" and the generator will keep it that way.
FAQ
Is this LinkedIn summary generator free?
Yes. Enter your email once to use it (you'll also get Something Big, our free weekly AI newsletter, and you can unsubscribe anytime). There's no account and no credit card.
How long should a LinkedIn About section be?
LinkedIn allows up to 2,600 characters, but 80 to 250 words is usually enough. Only the first two or three lines show before "see more", so the opening line matters most.
Should my LinkedIn summary be in first or third person?
First person. It's your own profile, and "I build B2B marketing teams" reads more naturally than a third-person bio. This generator always writes in first person.
Will it invent achievements?
No. It uses only the titles, numbers and results you give it. If you don't give a result, it describes your work concretely rather than making up a figure.
